I have missed mentioning in my Delhi to Neem Karoli Baba Ashram guide how I loved Aloo ke Gutke. The spicy star-friend potatoes tasted heavenly with bhang chutney.
Also, the Rabri here is a very close second to what I had in Haridwar. Another dessert I loved here was singori, an absolute work of art made of khoya.
2. Haidakhan Ashram
It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach the Haidakhan Ashram from Haldwani. The Ashram promotes the teachings of Haidakhan Babaji, who is worshipped as a manifestation of Lord Shiva.
His simple teachings of Truth, Simplicity, and Love stand for inclusivity and breaking the barriers of religions.
3. Gaula River
Starting from Paharpani, the Gaula River flows through Haldwani. It is a popular picnic spot and ideal for short nature walks.
6. Jeolikot
