      Focusing on “Justice, Care and Caution,” the message mentioned “The inevitable increase in travelers must be matched by appropriate offerings.” Further, this message from Archbishop Fisichella also highlighted that overcrowding or overtourism in several places is posing serious challenges. 

      Moreover, he suggested that with early interventions and the use of tools and technology, the negative impacts of overtourism can be averted.

        Vespucci and his aids were impressed seeing a village with slit houses on Lake Maracaibo. Amerigo Vespucci found the similarity of the place with Venice, and he named it Venezuela or Little Venice

        In recent times, Venezuela has taken some prominent steps to boost tourism in the country. Infrastructural development in the fragile ecosystems, and the announcement of Nicolas Maduro, the country’s president, to boost historical routes and tourism in the country, have been among them. 

        Furthermore, despite the US warnings for traveling to Venezuela, the tourism industry of the country looks strong, with the tourism industry expected to reach $3.17 billion by 2028
