How I Took The Help Of AI To Book Cheap Flights? 

During my September vacation this year, I took the help of AI to book cheap flights. I first used Google Gemini as it has a dedicated Google Flights extension. The first prompt I entered was “Find cheap flights from … to …. 

Initially, I struggled with the prompts. However, after a few attempts and unsatisfactory results, I found out that conversational prompts were working better. One such prompt was “Week-long vacation in September in XYZ destination.” 

By keeping the prompt or query conversational, you can actually help the AI tool to decode and customize your needs. Thus, they quickly curate the budget-friendly ticket options to your chosen destination from multiple sources. 

Now, before it shared the options, it first told me something. It said that it had access to some “secret fares” (In fact, many AI tools offer secret fare deals which other platforms do not offer.). That was the cue for me.  

Furthermore, it was easier for me as Google Flights had already launched Flight Deals by then. So, the cheap flight options and alternative route options it offered were many. It even offered some unique airline combinations that you will not find elsewhere easily.  

Also, sometimes AI tools analyze our past traveling patterns and our budget preferences to customize the cheap flight options for us.

Still, relying completely on an AI tool for booking flight tickets is a lengthy and trial-and-error process. Also, everyone may not be familiar with how to find the best deals and book flights with an AI tool.
