“The flowers change with the seasons, but the peace here stays the same.” Said Prakash Uncle, whom I met on my last trip to Bangalore from Hyderabad. We had this conversation as I was at the Flower Show at the Lalbagh Botanical Garden.
The air there was filled with the whiff of orchids, roses, and jasmine. In fact, the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the most peaceful places in Bangalore, has been in the news this year because of the Flower Show on 15th August, Independence Day.
The 218th edition of the Flower Show at the Lalbagh Botanical Garden paid special tribute to Sangolli Rayanna and Rani Chennamma.
Now, this is Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. With corporate headquarters and the busiest IT scene, Bangalore also harbors the history, culture, and wildlife diversity of the country with so much love.
Furthermore, tourism in Bangalore is going to reach the next level with the skydeck of Bangalore, a 250-meter observation tower, which finally going to be erected at Kommaghatta. When complete, it will offer a stunning view of the city and its surroundings.
So, with all the great things Bangalore has and is going to have, Bangalore continues to remain the crown jewel of Karnataka tourism. Last time, I talked about the 2 days trip from Bangalore and this time, I will discuss the places to visit on a one day outing in Bangalore.

Bangalore has been enjoying a renewed interest among the local and international tourists by hosting the 25th edition of the India International Travel Mart (IITM) in July 2025.
Members of state tourism boards and representatives of over 2000 tourism businesses attended the event.
So, with an anticipation of a tourism boom for the remaining months of the year, the following places in Bangalore are likely to have the most amount of footfall.

Some of these plants are even a century old.

The Department of Horticulture maintains this park today and spanning across an area of 300 acres, this park is home to parrots and squirrels.
It is also a popular spot for picknickers, joggers or us, who just want to relax and spend some time in nature.
4. Vidhana Soudha And High Court Building: The Proud Symbols Of Democracy, Statehood And Justice

Vidhana Soudha, the state legislative building, is a symbol of pride and democracy. Its Neo-Dravidian style of architecture inspires awe and I have seen many foreigners taking photographs here.
Furthermore, the impressive structure is made from granite and when illuminated at night, it becomes a sight to behold.
Moreover, the building is a colonial and post-colonial architectural heritage in Bangalore.
Next to the Vidhana Soudha is the High Court Building, another fine example of colonial-era architecture. Its red-brick façade and ornate arches are a photographer’s delight.
